Now in its 59th year The Gourock Highland Games are kicking off the season with a bang (and a drum roll...) with highland dancers, pipers, drummers and heavies from all accross the country! Set in picturesque Inverclyde with the Firth of Clyde and the Argyl hills as the backdrop, this event will be sure to get you in the highland spirit. THE BEACON ARTS CENTRE
The Beacon Arts Centre is one of the finest new arts venues in the UK, the Beacon is the replacement for the Greenock Arts Guild Theatre which served the area for 65 years. The centre is situated in spectacular location at Customhouse Quay in Greenock and overlooks the River Clyde estuary towards the hills of Arygll and Dumbartonshire.
The Beacon will be a significant new addition to the Scottish theatre and arts scene and will become a venue of choice for touring productions as well as being a vibrant hub for the local community theatre groups within the area.
